Around 12 miles west of Welshpool, Dolanog Bed and Breakfast provides bed and breakfast with its own private fishing pool. Around 30 minutes from the border with England, this guest house provides free parking and WiFi and a full Welsh breakfast.
Each room has hardwood floors and a flat-screen TV with DVD player, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. There is an en suite shower with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, and a bath in the family suite.
A full cooked breakfast is served, with a vegetarian version available. Cereals, porridge, pancakes, yoghurt and fresh fruit are also on the menu, along with toast, juice, tea and coffee. Evening meals can also be provided on request.
The property is fully licensed to serve beers, wines and spirits.
The local area provides stunning scenery for walking and cycling, and nearby Welshpool offers attractions including Powis Castle and Garden and the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway. The city of Shrewsbury and the Shropshire Hills are within a 1-hour drive.
