Having been classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site since 2004, it comprises an area of 987 hectares.
The corral vines, if the walls are aligned, we would obtain a cord that would go around the planet earth almost 2 times around the equator.
They are really an impressive work, the work of breaking the volcanic rock, building all the walls so that at the same time they protect from the winds, they allow the rays of the sun to pass through.
The work is really incredible, the maintenance of these vines can only be manual, from planting, pruning, sulphating, picking the grapes and transporting them through that labyrinth, yes, labyrinth that really looks like a maze game where we need to find the exit .
