The various phases of his work are depicted from the first drawings still in Mozambique (60's), through works from his period of attendance at the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon, to the work that ended the day before his death.
Maria da Conceição Nunes - Concas - was part of the "Six Group", made up of several artists and was at the genesis of the Superior School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha.

In this museum nucleus installed in the building of the Municipal Ateliers, inaugurated in 2009, is part of the plastic work of painter Concas (1946-1991), donated by the family to the Municipality of Caldas da Rainha.
