This family-run inn is a good base for exploring the North Coast of Ireland. It has its own 9-hole golf course, a traditional bar and American motel-style rooms. Free WiFi is available.
The en suite bedrooms are in a courtyard next to the main building. Each room has 2 double beds and most have baths and separate walk-in showers.
The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn has been owned and managed by the O'Hara family for four generations. The Brown Trout bar has live music at weekends.
The Royal Portrush Golf Club is 24 km from the Brown Trout. The area is also good for horse riding and fishing. The inn is in a beautiful part of the Irish countryside, less than 19.5 miles from the Giant's Causeway, and 13 miles to The Dark Hedges. The inn is not far from the Ulster American Folk Park (3 miles North of Omagh on the A5). The Folk Park is an outdoor museum, which tells the story of emigration to North America in the 18th and 19th Centuries.

The serious golfer will relish the challenge of the nearby Portrush Golf Club and all guests to Northern Ireland must see the world-famous Giants Causeway which is only a short drive away. At The Brown Trout Inn you can keep fit in the new gym, enjoy fishing, go horse riding or play golf on the inn’s private 9-hole golf course.
The gym is fully equipped and the golf course crosses water 7 times, but you’re never far from help and encouragement from bar manager of 39 years, Gerry McIlwaine.
