Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Middelburg, in the heart of Zeeland, was originally the central fortress in the defence line built to protect the island of Walcheren more than a thousand years ago.

This recently renovated hotel in classic style and the oldest hotel in Zeeland, is located in the city centre – once a major port of the Dutch East India Company during the Netherlands’ Golden Age.
