It was founded on January 25, 1892 by the Monastery of Saint Martin of Cucujães, in the house and fifth of the same name. Of all its patrimony, it counts the canvas The Adoration of the Magi attributed to Tintoretto. This work can be contemplated just behind the altar of the monastery. The Singeverga Monastery also has a unique collection of butterflies in Europe that can be visited with its famous Singeverga liqueur.
