On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, The Stables in Crockernwell provides a luxurious and eco-friendly bed and breakfast experience in Devon. A 17-minute drive from Exeter, the house dates back to the early 19th century, and now offers en suite rooms which retain much of its original character.
Rooms at The Stables have en suite bathrooms with bathrobes and toiletries, one of which has large roll-top bath. There is a TV with DVD player, tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer provided in each room.
Breakfast is provided by an experienced chef and includes eggs laid by the property’s own hens. There is homemade jam, fresh ground coffee and leaf tea, all served in an attractive dining room.
The Stables also has a library, garden and children’s play area, and can provide cots if required. Dogs are also welcome to come and stay.
